ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: JOB SPECIFIC

1. Reporting to the Director of Accounting this position would be responsible to assemble the College operating, capital budgets, and their maintenance on a perpetual basis.
2. Utilize the ERP to establish and maintain an inclusive and accurate position tracking system.
3. Establish strong relationships with VP's, department leadership and College staff to provide leadership and management of budget initiatives, new programs or needs and financial pathways to success.
4. Utilizing and working with the Director of Accounting reporting, develop variance analysis reporting, KPI reporting, benchmarking ratios, fiscal projections and Leadership level analysis reporting. This position would become the expert in the workings of the College budget and provide oversight as needed.
5. Responsible for the development and management of the long-term budget planning projections, both operating and capital for the College.
6. In conjunction with Leadership, provide budget planning advice and direction for strategic initiatives and long-term planning.
7. Responsible for the Educational Foundation reporting, from accuracies in the in-flow of gifts, endowments, deposits and scholarships coming into the Colleges Foundation general ledger to Board level reporting.
8. Responsible for compliance reporting as needed by internal and external customers, to include Pennsylvania Department of Education, Planning, Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness, Program Costing, Indirect/Overhead calculation and submittal. Develop and maintain an on-going calendar of all compliance due dates and communicate the information to those it affects. This is an area of need within the College.
9. Fulfill the consistent need for "one-off' reporting and special reports
10. Plan and execute events/meetings in a professional manner to the satisfaction of the event sponsor, program participants and attendees as well as develop and manage the process of issuing client satisfaction surveys and track results.
11. Evaluate events/meetings to recommend improvements that will enhance the quality of future events/meetings.
12. Serve as the backup to the Director of Accounting and provide assistance as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
• Five to seven years of related experience required.
• Prior supervisory and management experience.
• Experience negotiating service contracts.
• Experience working with and supervising employees under labor contracts.
• Related work experience in higher education.
• Prior work performance must have met or exceeded appropriate work standards in current and prior positions.
