The Manager for Assignments is responsible for the year-round administration of on-campus summer housing operations, including functions of residence assignments, dining plan entitlements, and residence dining plan and Convenience Points charges. Students assigned to on-campus summer housing include matriculating Boston University students, students enrolled in English language orientation programs, student employee groups, students participating in special University programs, and students matriculating at other colleges and universities who intern in the Boston area. This position also actively engages in the day-to-day overall housing assignment operations, intersession housing, and cyclical room assignment functions for the academic year. In addition, helps with the walk-in and telephone daily traffic in the assignments area.
Required Skills
Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred. 3-5 years of Housing/Residence Life experience required. Strong written and oral communication skills.
