The Assistant Manager, Onecard and Business Development is responsible for fostering new business opportunities and developing and implementing a partnership strategy and marketing strategy for Onecard. The incumbent is accountable for daily operational leadership of the team at all three campuses, partnership programs, as well as understanding the student life cycle, and event planning.
They will be responsible for working with the Marketing team, developing creative assets and copywriting for print and online content. The incumbent will oversee Onecard financials, social media channels, respond to any inquiries regarding partnerships, and be the primary point of contact for prospective and existing partnerships. The incumbent will be required to travel between campuses and to partner locations, and occasionally works on weekends for residence move-in or special events.
What You’ll Be Doing
Providing leadership and management of Onecard staff, offices across all 3 campuses, and retail and on retail partnership programs (collaborating with vendors, college departments, retail partners) to ensure operational and card holder needs are met, including any financial procedures (daily and month-end) for compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI).
Working with the direct leader implementing the strategic direction of the expansion of Onecard-related programs including on campus usage, new revenue streams, off-site retailing and developing new marketing and communication plans in collaboration with internal partners including vendor negotiations.
Fostering new business opportunities, and uncovering consumer insights while developing and implementing a retail partnership strategy and an innovative marketing campaign for Onecard that will grow market share, revenue, and brand reputation improving the student experience and driving growth.
Planning and coordinating marketing events, educating and engaging with on/off campus partners, and providing training and direction to part-time staff on student engagement, campus promotions, and collaborative community activities and partnerships to promote Onecard services.
Developing social media content calendar and execute a robust internal communication plan for all Onecard events.
Developing, maintaining and sharing skills in a rapidly changing environment, including researching new products, partners, and tools and attending webinars.
Performing other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will also meet the following qualifications:
4-year bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing and Communications or a related field of study.
3 years of experience with database, payment systems and PCI compliance (Equivalency will be considered)
