The Director is responsible for conducting internal financial, operational, and compliance audits as outlined in the Colleges’ annual plan, or as directed by the President or the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) Audit Committee. This position reports administratively to the President and functionally to the Audit Committee through the TBR Chief Audit Executive (CAE).  The audits are for the purpose of determining the adequacy of the institution’s systems of internal control for continuous improvement; risk management and fraud awareness; efficiency and effectiveness of financial, administrative and academic management; and verification of compliance with policies, requirements, and laws of the College, Tennessee Board of Regents, State of Tennessee, Federal Regulations, and accreditatio
