POSITION DESCRIPTIONA key leader in the Division of Student Life, the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Student Life provides leadership for staff and programming for University of Minnesota Duluth students, faculty, staff, and community. The AVC is a student-centered, service-oriented, energetic, collaborative, intentional educator reporting to the Vice Chancellor for Student Life and Dean of Students. The AVC works closely and collaboratively with other Student Life leaders and staff, faculty, and students on a thriving, forward-thinking campus.RESPONSIBILITIESSupervision - 50%Units reporting to the AVC include Dining Services, UMD Stores, and Transportation and Parking Services. In overseeing these four critical units to the student experience, the AVC
