M-F 8:30-5:00  RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee department of General Accounting which provides operational accounting support to the University.  Manage preparation of annual financial report for the University including the blending of component units. Manage preparation of University of Utah Research Foundation financial statements. Manage the preparation of various cultural entities financial statements and other external financial statements, as applicable. Prepare University response to new and proposed accounting standards; assess and oversee execution of approved approaches.
