The Capital Planning & Facilities (CPF) division of Indiana University works to ensure that all IU campuses are beautiful, functional, and sustainable by supporting excellence in teaching, learning, research, and community engagement across the entire university. The office also serves as a liaison with the state of Indiana for all capital projects, including the Capital Appropriations Request, the state approval process for capital projects, and the various capital and space utilization reports required by the state.
The Support Resources unit provides a wide range of services that support the work of units within CPF—from financial analysis and human resources to information technology and procurement. We work in tandem to provide financial and budget oversight and analysis, ensure compliance to university policies, and process transactions. The procurement team supports construction contract management, bidding, supplier relationships, and policy compliance, as well as managing supplies for IU Bloomington Facility Operations.
At CPF, we believe diversity, equity, and inclusion are inseparable from our mission to create campuses and communities that keep our faculty, staf...f and students feeling safe, supported and included. CPF Cares about each individual and the unique background and capabilities they bring to our team. It is through these diverse experiences and perspectives that we will thrive in the future as a team that actively represents Indiana University’s commitment to diversity and equity.
