As a Higher Education Integrated Payments Specialist, you will serve as a subject matter expert in the business office responsibilities in a university setting. You will be responsible for assisting existing and potential Transact Integrated Payments clients in ways to effectively drive additional usage on their campus. The candidate will work together with account executives, client success managers, and solution engineers to generate and execute on the actions required to upsell or activate new terms with existing clients.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Assisting sales and client success management to activate marketing-based initiatives to increase payment adoption through our Transact payment modules.
Working in collaboration with Integrated Payments account executives and client success managers to assist and drive sales process to lead to an upsell purchase or new terms or activation approach.
Participating in marketing efforts (webinars, events, etc.) and sales activities to drive additional revenue.
Collaborating with existing clients to drive successful implementation and periodic health checks to ensure successful engagement and product configuration.
Compiling, maintaining, and expanding list of key clients who can participate in Transact events, beta test new functionality, and serve as client referrals.
Being well informed about current campus industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about the industry.
Developing positive relationships and working creatively and collaborating with colleagues in Marketing, Client Management, Global Services, Product Management, Client Support and Finance/Banking Operations.
Understand and translate detailed analysis of key performance indicators and business objectives into volume-based processing.
Provide valuable feedback to our product team to ensure our payments product continues to exceed industry requirements.
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent education or work experience.
5+ years working in the Business Office of a university/college/higher education environment.
Well-versed in the receivables ecosystem and financial aid process and impact on student success in a higher education setting.
Experience with Transact Integrated Payments (formally Cashnet) solutions.
Ability to work in a team environment.
This position requires the candidate to work out of a home office
Travel: Expect 10-20%
