The Assistant Director of Accounting Services reports to the Director of Accounting Services and is responsible for the processing, analyzing and reporting of all college revenues ($80M). The direct responsibilities of this position include maintenance of the Uniform Revenue Account System (including cash receipts, cash disbursements and general ledger); all bank accounts (including State Fees and Controlled Disbursement accounts, Dormitory Tax & Finance accounts, administration of the Positive Pay and ACH processes), accounting for all Income Fund Reimbursable (fees and fines) revenue activity. This position also assists with supervision of other department staff (Administrative Assistant 1) and with the classification and reporting of expenditure activity, internal auditing and systems development. This officer serves as a liaison with SUNY Controllers Office and Office of the State Comptroller. The Assistant Director acts as Director of Accounting Services during the absence of the Director.
