Senior Vice President, Business Affairs & Chief Financial Officer (“SVP”)
Founded in 1964, Cleveland State University (CSU) is a public research institution with 17,000-plus students, 10 colleges and schools and more than 175 academic programs. The SVP oversees the institution’s business and other assigned support functions, including the Budget Office, Business Policies, Controller’s Office and other treasury functions (Payroll, General Accounting, Contracts and Grants, Cashiering, etc.), Facilities Planning, Parking, Physical Plant, Purchasing and Materials Management, Police, and Auxiliary enterprises. As a member of the senior executive staff, the SVP is responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for the University’s financial operations and is charged with partnering with the President, the Provost, and other members of the senior leadership team to align the University’s financial resources with its strategic goals.
The next SVP will be a dynamic leader and collaborative team player. The ideal candidate will be self-assured and strong in their convictions and must be committed and passionate about furthering the innovative spirit and mission of CSU.
