Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Vice President for Administration and Finance.
Primary Job Duties: Provide vision, executive leadership, and management/oversight while advancing SU's commitment to diversity and inclusion of the administrative functions of the University including finance and budget, human resources, capital projects, information technology, facilities, grounds, auxiliary services, sustainability, and campus safety/law enforcement. Lead the development and implementation of campus-wide strategies and plans for financial management and physical development. Participate in campus and USM planning and decision making as member of the SU Executive Staff. Represent the interests of the University in the local community, in the System, and state-wide.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and over ten years of related experience.
Must be detail oriented and have customer service, organization and planning, prioritization, problem solving, follow through, time management, and oral and written communication skills. Also, must be flexible and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and work well under pressure, work independently and in a team-oriented environment and possess skills in successfully leading diverse teams and advancing an inclusive organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications: CPA and/or CIA preferred.
This is a full-time, exempt, State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
