The Controller leads ten accounting professionals in managing all financial aspects of the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable , payroll, grant compliance, and financial systems.
Reporting to the VP, CFO and Assistant Treasurer, this is a key role in the Office of Financial Services with a unique opportunity to build out a successful accounting and compliance strategy and oversee effective accounting processes in a complex compliance environment. The diversified funding portfolio includes U.S. and foreign governments, private foundations, individuals, and universities.
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other business degree with accounting emphasis required.
-CPA license required (CFA, CMA, or Master's degree in business or related field highly desirable).
-Minimum 15 years of accounting and finance experience, with 5+ years at a senior managerial level. Previous public accounting experience or equivalent preferred. Experience wit global organizations/foreign offices helpful.
-Minimum of 8 years supervisory experience required.
