Reporting to the Vice President and CFO, the Bursar has oversight for the offices of Credit and Collection and Cash Operations, and the student billing function. The Bursar is responsible for all cash coming into the University, student tuition billing and collection, and collecting and reporting on all categories of loan funds, while assuring compliance with all related government statutes and regulations. The incumbent will provide strategic management and support for Bursar functions at the Main Campus, Health Sciences Center and Center City campuses, and indirect supervision of Bursar related functions at satellite campuses. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years related experience in a business setting. M.B.A. and/or C.P.A. is strongly preferred. Must have demonstrable experience in federal loan regulations and significant knowledge of computerized systems, including personal and ERP systems, with Banner experience preferred. Must have prior supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
