Oversees and manages day to day operations of the Textbook division of the Colorado State University Bookstore in a professional and profitable manner. Responsible for the effective leadership and financial accountability of the textbook process including ordering, inclusive access, selling, renting and buyback functions of textbooks.
Responsibilities include supervision of the division, pricing philosophy and execution, planning, budgeting, financial analysis, promoting, hiring, training, customer service, and other related functions.
This position reports to the Bookstore Director and works with the store director and other assistant directors to ensure the appropriate products and services are offered to the CSU community. This position leads a team that includes a department manager, five full time employees and various student and part time positions and is responsible for sales of approximately $12,000,000 in a $17,000,000 college bookstore operation.

Bachelor’s degree required (business, marketing, merchandising, management, or related field, or a generic bachelor’s degree plus two years of professional experience directly related to the duties of this position). A minimum of three years progressively responsible managerial experience in retail sales, preferably in a large, high-volume sales environment. A minimum of two years supervisory experience of full time employees.
