The VP/CBO will provide leadership in several areas, including but not limited to:
Bring “outside-in” best practices and innovations from higher education and other sectors in ways that sharpen and advance Capital's business model, business strategy, and financial sustainability;
Lead strategic short- and longer-term strategic financial modeling, planning, and projection in collaboration with the senior leadership team;
Conduct cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analysis of programs and services and other analyses of resource use, to inform decision making, process improvement, and other innovations for greater robustness and impact;
Monitor, plan, and forecast University revenues and expenditures, analyzing corrective measures as needed, and;
Define metrics to measure success and impact of financial strategies, performance, and sustainability.
The vice president will join the senior leadership team of the University. The team is dynamic, passionate, professional, forward thinking, innovative, and strategic. Recently appointed Capital President Elizabeth (Beth) Paul leads the team with a collective vision and expectation of collaboration, as well as high expectations for and support of each member's individual professionalism, excellence, and growth.
