Serves as the budget officer of the college; supports VPF in leadership of Finance division; provides accounting and business practice guidance to campus; supports Board of Trustees committees relating to finance, investment and audit. Refer to www.bridgewater.edu/careers for more detail.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field required; Master’s degree in accounting or MBA preferred.
Minimum seven years’ related work experience, preferably in the higher education setting.
CPA license strongly preferred.
Experience with Ellucian Colleague preferred.
Relevant experience in the preparation and interpretation of nonprofit financial statements, preferably for college or university.
Experience in financial forecasting and comprehensive budget responsibilities for organization(s) of similar size and complexity.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated competency in business writing – proposals, memos, succinct financial analysis narratives.
Proficient, experienced user of MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint – and one or more financial accounting systems.
