Job Description Summary:
This is a 100%, 12 month, Classified, Categorically Funded (25%) Position
This position is partially funded by categorical funds, and employment at 100% is subject to those funds being available.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Director- Curriculum and Scheduling/Articulation Officer, assist with planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing the production of the class schedule and catalog; conduct audits of class sections to assure collection of correct apportionments; process room requests for non-class events; provide administrative support to curriculum related activities.

Assist with planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing the production of the class schedule and catalog; compile and process class schedule and catalog text; assure the accuracy and completeness of inputted text; assure consistency between class schedule and catalog text; respond to inquiries regarding room scheduling and schedule construction.
Conduct audits of class sections to assure collection of correct apportionments; assure accuracy of registration and MIS data; maintain instructional room schedules utilizing an assigned scheduling management system; identify and resolve room scheduling conflicts; process room requests and assignments in accordance with College policies and procedures; communicate with faculty and staff to rectify missing or incomplete room request documents.
Provide technical information and assistance to the Director regarding assigned functions; assist in the formulation and development of policies, procedures and programs; evaluate and provide recommendations to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of scheduling policies and procedures.
Assist with the review and revision of associate degree and general education breadth requirements for District distribution, catalog and submission to appropriate agencies.
Prepare and update scheduling instructional handbook and other related materials.
Prepare and maintain a variety of narrative and statistical reports, records and files related to assigned activities.
Communicate with administrators, personnel and outside organizations to coordinate activities and programs, resolve issues and conflicts and exchange information; read and respond to emails as appropriate.
Operate a computer and assigned software programs; operate other office equipment as assigned.
Attend a variety of meetings as assigned.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Any combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree in communications or related field and three years increasingly responsible experience performing copy editing and auditing functions.
Range 38: $4,231.00-$5,400.00 monthly, $50,772-$64,799 annually
