This position is responsible for the receipt and timely recording of all revenue related items, including ticketing and donor related income, while also assisting in financial day to day management by performing advanced financial functions to include new hire orientation, tax preparation, monthly projections and audit coordination.
Review and record ticket revenue in the GTAA general ledger.
Review and record Alexander-Tharpe Fund contributions and donations in the general ledger.
Manage the receipt and processing of GTAA revenue, including sponsorship, conference, and operations
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
Manage credit card processing, recording and problem resolution.
Prepare and record revenue related journal entries for monthly reporting.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial projections for Assoc. AD – Administration and Finance.
Maintain Alexander-Tharpe Fund pledge tracking schedules.
Prepare investment transfer reporting.
Prepare and distribute monthly fundraising reports.
Prepare GTAA invoicing and other accounts receivable.
Assist with audits as needed, including recording expenses and preparing documentation.
Maintain the debt, pledge, and investment schedules for Assoc. AD – Administration and Finance.
Prepare ACC and NCAA championship reimbursements.
Serve as the liaison for external revenue departments, including the ticket office and Alexander-Tharpe Fund.
Prepare sales, payroll, international and corporate Tax Returns.
Serve as the Business Office new hire liaison which includes maintenance of relocation allowances and business card orders.
Provide general office support as needed.
Cooperate with the Athletics compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements, and make a determined effort to ensure that staff and teams are in compliance.

The successful candidate will possess the following competencies:
Decision Making and Problem Solving
Preferred Education: Bachelor Degree or Higher in Accounting, Business or Finance is required. Master’s Degree preferred in Business or Sports Management.
Preferred Work Experience: Four to six years of relevant experience in college athletics
Preferred Certifications: N/A
Additional Information: Must have knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Additionally, must have the ability to work outside of typical business hours as needed, potentially including but not limited to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
