About United Educators
While UE membership begins with liability insurance coverage, it doesn’t end there. Membership includes risk management, loss control, and claims handling as well.
United Educators, a reciprocal risk retention group, was created by educational institutions for educational institutions with the sole purpose of providing a high-quality, specialized alternative to commercial insurance. UE understands the unique risk profile of schools, colleges, universities, and other educationally oriented organizations and our worldwide liability policies are specially designed and carefully written to cover the unique exposures of education. We tailor coverage to meet specialized needs through thoughtful underwriting calculated to provide appropriate coverage levels. We don’t shy away from risks that other insurance carriers limit or avoid, such as athletics, sexual misconduct, armed security guards, alcohol, tenure, and intellectual property.
