Brandeis University seeks to hire a Manager of Auxiliary Service to support the Director of University Services in day-to-day operational and financial management of contracted services including Dining Services, Copy and Mail Services, Bookstore, Laundry Room Machines, Vending, and other internal and external relationships as needed. Responsible for day-to-day management of the Campus Card Office, including supervising 3-4 students, and administering the ID card program, which impacts constituents across campus.
Examples of Key Responsibilities:
General Management: Full responsibility for day-to-day operations of the Campus Card Office; administer campus-wide ID card system; supervise non-exempt employees and student employees; process AR/AP billing functions for University Services; provide high levels of customer service to all students, parents, faculty and staff.
Business Systems Management: Administer Business Systems including CBORD/CSGold; Interface with LTS and other departments on projects to increase automation, department efficiency, student/faculty/staff customer service satisfaction, and on regular business operations, including managing financial information from SFS systems to CBORD, and other inter-system transactions.
Financial Management Reporting and Operational Support: Support Director in preparation of annual budgets, monthly budget reports and analysis, identifying and resolving customer service issues, create financial and general information spreadsheets and system generated reports for senior management on ad hoc and recurring bases, covering the University Services portfolio.
Bachelor’s Degree, required
3-5 years experience
Must have basic to intermediate skills in various Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of CBORD, CSGold Card systems highly preferred. PeopleSoft and Micros POS experience preferred.
Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and personable and professional when interacting with the faculty, staff and students and parents.
